(SOLD)MTD Yard machine 26" Snow Thrower.

(SOLD)MTD Yard machine 26" Snow Thrower.

Update: 02/06/26 This machine worked flawlessly through the past foot and a half of snow.  And will continue to do so, and plowed a 200-ft dog run through the backyard after the storm all 17.9 inches of it no problem.  This is a 2002 MTD yard machines 26" snowblower. This has been my personal machine for the past three years and has been serviced properly each of those three years. The machine sat all year and started on the second pull. You can thank a properly running engine routine service and ethanol-free fuel for that. It was serviced again today, 11/5/25, with a new NGK plug, a full tank of ethanol-free fuel.and 10w-30 small engine specific oil. I also added a capacitor to the LED lights to smooth the DC voltage and reduce some of the "flicker" (video makes it look really bad as most LEDs will do on video regardless, and there's a reason for that), also "port matched" the intake some, and upgraded the fixed jet carb with a fully adjustable carb. This carb is an aftermarket one I get from Rotary Corp. It's a $100.00 retail-value carb, not a $15 Amazon special. This was originally a customer's machine 3 years ago that was not interested in spending the money on the work that it needed, plus it needed a flywheel due to failed magnets. We have obviously replaced that and added a stator so we can power additional LED lights. They are very bright. This machine has served me well over the past three years, with heavy-duty steel augers, unlike today's stamped-steel augers. In the past 3 years, the machine has received all-new axle bushings, wheel bushings, belts, and an impeller bearing. The machine starts easily, runs well with plenty of power. I snowblow half my neighborhood, and I used this machine to push the banks back. I also did the valves 3 years ago and why they still have the clearance they should a common fail point on these engines. Intake has .007", exhaust has.011" This is a nice running machine, and I'm in no hurry to get rid of it. I simply have too much well-running equipment. Warranty: I cant get customers to keep oil in their engines let alone offer a warranty bring it back to me for a service next year and itll countinue to run as it should.
